Basa ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy in compliance with Zimbabwe's Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07].
We collect your mobile phone number for authentication, your name and profile photo (optional), your location when you post or browse service requests, and transaction records for wallet and fee management.
Your information is used to provide and improve the Basa marketplace, process payments via Paynow Zimbabwe, send you notifications about bids, jobs, and rides, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. Contact numbers are shared with service providers only once, at your explicit choice, when you accept a bid.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Authentication tokens are stored in encrypted device storage. We do not store passwords — authentication is via OTP only.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at basaapp01@gmail.com. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
Basa is not intended for users under 18 years of age.
